**Our Contribution:**

### The Core Intuition

You asked: "Ergodicity of dynamical systems and flows are in essence an FIM question — why is my intuition taking me there?"

**Your intuition is correct.** Here's why:

**Ergodicity** says: for almost every initial condition, the time average of any observable equals its space average with respect to the invariant measure. Formally:

### What the Standalone Paper Proves

1. **Theorem 2.3 (Ergodicity = Divergence Collapse)**:

2. **Proposition 3.1 (Mixing = Temporal FIM Decay)**:
